Please note: large backpacks, suitcases, trolleys and large purses are not permitted in the Colosseum. As there are no storage facilities at the Colosseum, we strongly recommend leaving large bags at home.

Entrance to the Vatican Museums is subject to a dress code. Please wear appropriate clothing that covers your knees and shoulders or you may be refused entry.

St Peter’s Basilica is an operating place of worship and may be closed without notice for religious services. Tours that are unable to visit St Peter’s Basilica will spend more time exploring the Vatican Museums.

The meeting point for the morning portion of this tour is close to the Colosseo metro station, 20 minutes prior to the start time. The meeting point for the afternoon portion of the tour is close to the entrance to the Vatican museum. You will receive full instructions with your confirmation email once you have completed your booking. Please make your own way to each meeting point location.

Then we’ll break for lunch when you will have some free time to grab a bite or explore the city on your own.
